About us and these terms

This website is operated by Bakers Bites of South Nowra NSW 2541 ("we", "us"). By using this site or placing an order you agree to these terms, together with our Shipping & Returns policy and Privacy policy, which form part of them. If you're ordering for a business (a stockist, retailer or trainer), you confirm you're authorised to do so on its behalf.

Our products are pet food

Everything we sell is food for dogs — it is not for human consumption. Like any treat, our biscuits should be fed as part of a balanced diet with fresh water available; introduce any new food gradually, and check with your vet if your dog has allergies, health conditions or is on a restricted diet. Feeding guides on our packaging are general guidance only. Store products sealed in a cool, dry place and use by the best-before date on the pack.

Ordering

Placing an order is an offer to buy; the sale is accepted when we confirm your order. We may decline or limit an order in genuine cases — for example a product is out of stock, an obvious pricing error, or delivery isn't feasible — and if we do, anything you've paid for that order will be refunded in full promptly. We'll send an order confirmation email to the address you give at checkout.

Prices and payment

Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST; delivery fees are shown at checkout before you commit. Prices may change from time to time, but not for an order we've already confirmed. If a price on the site is an obvious error, we may cancel the order and refund you rather than supply at the mistaken price. Payment options are shown at checkout and may include payment on pickup or delivery and card payment; where card payment is offered it's processed by our payment provider under their terms — we never see or store your full card number.

Accounts

You can order as a guest or create an account. Keep your account details accurate and your password confidential — you're responsible for activity under your login, so tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed it. We may suspend an account that's being misused, used fraudulently or in breach of these terms.

Loyalty program

The loyalty program applies to retail orders placed online at bakersbites.com.au only. It does not apply to wholesale, trade, stockist or trainer pricing, or to orders placed by phone, email or in person. Account holders earn 1 point per $1 spent (on the GST-inclusive amount paid). Every 200 points can be redeemed for $5.00 off a future order at checkout. Points have no cash value, can't be transferred or sold, and are reversed if an order is refunded (redeemed points on a refunded order are re-credited). We may change or end the loyalty program with reasonable notice; points already earned will remain redeemable for at least 60 days after any such notice.

Product information

We work hard to describe our products accurately, including ingredients and feeding guidance. Packaging design, biscuit shape and colour can vary slightly between batches — they're baked, not moulded plastic. If an ingredient listing matters for your dog, the packaging on the product you receive is the definitive version; contact us before ordering if you need to confirm anything.

Delivery, returns and your consumer rights

Delivery timeframes, damaged orders and returns are covered in our Shipping & Returns policy. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law — you're entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage, and to repair or replacement if goods fail to be of acceptable quality where the failure isn't major. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies those rights.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, and other than liability that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website, and our total liability in connection with an order is limited to resupplying the products or refunding the amount you paid for them.

Website use and intellectual property

The content of this site — our name, logo, product names, photos and text — belongs to us. You're welcome to browse, share links and print pages for your own use, but please don't copy our content for commercial use without asking. Don't use the site to do anything unlawful, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or interfere with its operation.

Wholesale and stockist orders

Trade pricing, minimum order quantities and payment terms for stockists and wholesale customers are agreed separately and prevail over the retail terms on this page where they differ. Contact us via the stockists page to set up a trade account.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page at the time you place an order is the one that applies to it. The "last updated" date below tells you when they last changed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and disputes are subject to the courts there. But talk to us first through our contact page — nearly everything is fixable with a message.
